Greece has the most accessible transportation from Europe by plane via large airport locations at both mainland and island destinations like Athens International Airport and island airports including Santorini and Heraklion. Airlines in Europe have a number of daily flights that go directly to Greece but some larger routes go through cities such as London and Rome.

Traveling around Greece
Traveling in Greece is relatively cheap and easy to do. There are ferries connecting the various islands providing wonderful views of the ocean while traveling. The metro system and buses in Athens are also easy to navigate and on the islands, you can walk, take a taxi, or rent a scooter to travel and see all the sights.
